I GOT INTO NYU!!!!!
I am just in disbelief. It was kind of a long shot and today I was just freaking out. But then I get home and see an NYU sweatshirt hanging on the door in the garage... and then my mom is in the kitchen with this package... oh man. I was just thinking all this time how if they don't want me then it's not the right school for me (and everyone should remember that because the school knows itself better than you know it so if they don't want you, it's probably not the right place for you)... but I am really happy it is. I am going to live in New York City next year!!!! Danielle is going to be like 30 minutes away from me! And Christina is TOTALLY going to Columbia so we will get coffee together like every day. To everyone who actually thought I could get in - I love you I love you I love you and appreciate it so much cause if EVERYONE had been saying to me "oh yeah, NYU is way hard to get into" then I probably would have like jumped off a cliff before today.
Oh man. I am so excited. I am SO excited. And I am so excited for everyone else who finds out today/soon! And I am excited for those who don't get into their first choice. Cause hey, just think of Aeneas and fate... perhaps you need to found a new city somewhere other than where you think you want to go.
