Happy New Year
Well we are back in Minnesota from our break for Christmas in Eastpointe! It was awesome to see everyone! It was really neat to be home. I am getting a different perspective on things now that I am living away in another city.
We got to do a lot while we were home! We saw all of my family and most of Dave's, we had an awesome girls + Dave night and saw Little Women the Musical with Jess, Stef, and Kristyn! Thanks again Stef for organizing it! We got to go to Emily and Paul's wedding shower which was fun, they had a camping theme and the organizers did some creative decorating. On the way back we were able to see Becky, which was really awesome even though she was sick :-(. We were able to spend some quality time with Dave's parents and my parents, (we are really blessed that they live so close to eachother right now) and also got to see Dave's brother Paul a bit. Let's see.... oh I also got to see Kirstin, Frank, and Gerard, we went out for Thai before the GLI, lots of fun!
What did you do for New Year's Eve? We hung out and played some euchre with Dave's parents, then went to see Dzia Dzia and Aunt Pat, after that we hung out with East Detroit friends at Beth's party. It was good to see everyone! Rose and Jon who are now married, Renee and Adam (will be married in 2006) and Beth and Josh. Played some Trivial Pursuit Pop culture edition, the girls did a good showing but lost to (mostly Jon) the boys in the end. Overall a good night!
