flute choir workshop

Today has been a really good day. I first worked at the foodshelf then came home and had a quick lunch with Dave and ran off to the Upper Midwest Flute Association Flute Choir Showcase :-) Our flute choir: The Silverwinds played and we heard a lot of other really good groups. We also got to go to a piccolo workshop which was really neat! It was really good to just have a musical afternoon. I am starting to play piccolo in the band here.... I need to find out where I should practice it in my apartment.... I would feel kinda bad annoying the neighbors.... Hehe, this afternoon also made me want to spend money to buy new flute and piccolo stuff :-)

Rainy day though :-( we may go to a mall to get some walking around, or go take advantage of our pool!
