My 2nd post tonight..
I love the feeling just before a thunderstorm or heavy rain begins. It gets dark and there is an eerie calmess and everything is quiet for a few moments. I just love that feeling. I don't know why. And then the moment it starts raining everything gets louder and the wind blows the leaves on the ground so that they fly around in the air and the lightning flashes across the sky. And it feels weird that inside the house everything is calm, but outside it is loud and chaotic. Hmm...now I wish a thunderstorm was somewhere in the five day forecast.
I want to fingerpaint. I never did that when I was little. I have been deprived of the joy of dipping one's fingers into little cups of primary-colored paints and drawing meaningless squiggles on huge sheets of paper! I must add finger painting to my to-do list. Anyone care to join me?
