Aw. That wasn't awful at all. It was sweet and just what I was picturing. Nick trying to leave the day after would totally be just like him. He's just that much of a stupid ass to think that's what he needed to do. My favorite part was Sean though. Oh, how I your Sean characterization. I can't even put into words why I like him so much. It's just the way you write him. ::sigh

I'm very glad to hear that you enjoyed the rain fic. I was a little worried, obviously, but I think I hate it less now than I did while I was writing it. Sean fought me the whole way because he always hates to admit that he's a whiny little bitch, but the truth is that he is and we all know it. Luckily Nick finds that amusing, although he's so completely whipped over Sean that he hardly ever lets me write from his POV. These two are the most annoying pairing I write, I think.
The Bates Motel imagery is hilarious. Of course that's exactly what I was picturing so I'm glad it came across that way. I didn't think it was a weird plot bunny at all, in fact, I wish I could have done it more justice. I might try a different take on it in Ghost Ship when I get the chance, just for fun.
