Musical Advent Calendar: Day Four
Do you know what song I love? Low's "Just Like Christmas". It's not really a Christmas song at all, but it always puts me in the mood for the holidays anyway.
Last year some band I've never heard of called Kill It Kid did a cover of "Just Like Christmas", and it's pretty excellent, so I share it with you today. I don't know anything else about them, but I love covers, so I love this song.

In plumbing news: All my pipes need replacing. They keep breaking because the house was built cheaply with PVC almost 30 years ago. Kids, PVC is bad! Make sure your pipes are copper. So that project will start next week sometime, once the utility company comes out and marks the lines. Let's not talk about it!
Last night I wrote almost 2000 words of Puck-centric DIWWCF fic, but I can't decide whether it should come next in the series or if it should be part of a larger whole. Perhaps I will run it past my partner in crime, Liz. I haven't done that in awhile.
I've posted one Yuletide fic and now I'm trying to convince myself that I should still fix the other one and not just delete it and pretend it never existed. It's pretty tempting, though, ngl.
Today is Weirdo Writers, and I am not feeling it. It's rainy and I slept pretty late and mostly I just want to go back to bed.
