advent calendar day 17
Today is Hanson day on the advent calendar! Yay! I love their Christmas album, not gonna lie. It's cheerful and happy and never fails to make me smile when I hear it, and that's what a Christmas album should do. So I share with you two of my favorite tracks:

Last night severity_softly came over and we ate Chinese and tried to watch "Burn After Reading". It was a Netflix DVD, however, so of course it was scratched all to hell. I think I had to restart it...like five times? Because it kept freezing at the important bits. Of course! So we missed some stuff, but in spite of that I really enjoyed it. Then again...Coen brothers. Enough said, really.
severity_softly had to remind me that it was Criminal Minds night. I am so far behind on everything, you guys. I try to care, but then I just...don't. (And yes, I watched that one episode of CSI with the barbecue joint. It was fun and slashy and cute! Aaaaand I don't care enough to talk about it. :shrug:) I guess I'm experiencing some fannish ennui or something. Which is probably for the best, because honestly, that novel is not going to write itself.
I am supposed to summarize 2009 for the 30 Day Meme today. I...think I'll work up to it.
