Yesterday's advent calendar post was locked because I nattered about some personal/work stuff, so if you couldn't see that post but you want to download yesterday's song, you can do so here:

Today's song is another nontraditional offering from Dressy Bessy, who you may know from the "But I'm a Cheerleader" soundtrack. Or, you know, one of their albums.
Dressy Bessy -- All the Right Reasons
I declare today 'Write Your Goddamn Yuletide Fic' Day. So far I have...150 words? -ish? It's not going that well, mostly because my idea is nebulous at best. I like what I've got so far, but I'm not sure where (if anywhere) it's going. Usually I'm not terrible at writing rambling character studies, but lately the task seems a little beyond me. Not the best time of year to have writer's block, I have to say.
I also need to find someone who knows the relatively obscure canon so I can get a beta at some point, but I can't mention the fandom in an unlocked post. I tell you, these fic exchanges. They are...a challenge. Yeah, that's the word I'm going for.
(Maybe today should be 'Find Out When the Yuletide Deadline Is' Day. IDEK.)
