premiere spoilers are...uh...spoiler-y

My noon training session was canceled today, so I had time to watch the premiere of Criminal Minds on my iPod (shut up). I will only say this about that:

The 'estranged family in danger/packed up and sent away' storyline was lifted directly from Touching Evil. It was lame when Jeffrey Donovan had to play it too. WTG, writers. When someone else has already failed at something, you should at least try to fail a little differently.

Though we did get the pool shooting and the Creegan/Rivers relationship out of the Touching Evil arc, at least. I have a feeling that will not be the case with Criminal Minds. (At least not around here. I'm sure the Hotch/Rossi shippers are pretty excited, but you probably know how I feel about Hotch and slash.)

I found the season premiere less than riveting, tbh. I would say I have high hopes that CSI will be more satisfying, but I've seen the show, so. Oh well. At least I can hope that Flash Forward will live up to the hype.

And on that note, it's back to work for me. It's nice to have something to do for once, I have to say.

touching evil, criminal minds, csi
