I am getting a little tired of BYOS*

Wendy and Hodges are pretty cute in that totally platonic 'I'm the only one in the lab who can deal with his personality disorder' kind of way. I have one of those at my job. He's less abrasive than Hodges, but way more clueless, and definitely more annoying. Then again, RL is always more annoying than fiction.

I love Ray, I really do. And I have been looking forward to this episode so we can find out a little more about him. But not at the expense of my boys. It's nice to see Nick and Brass working together, but I want more screen time for Nick and Greg, writers. I don't always want to have to bring my own subtext, you know?

I choose to believe that right before Nick left to go interview the half dozen dealers with Brass that Greg cornered him in the locker room and made him promise not to get shot at, kidnapped, stabbed, blown up, or otherwise maimed. And then he kissed him really hard, just to remind him why it's not always the best idea to play the hero.

And then later Greg complained about how Nick got to go see the guys in spandex and pleather (because Nick always goes out on the dangerous calls), and Nick threatened to bodycheck him, and Greg dared him to try, and before he even finished talking he was flat on his back on their bed. And once Nick had him pinned down he reminded Greg that if he'd quit sleeping in and get up to go to the gym with Nick before work, he might stand a chance next time.

It is hot when Nick speaks Spanish, not gonna lie. And at least Greg made it into the episode before Riley. It's been awhile since that happened.

Oh, hey, I totally forgot that Ray's supposed to have sociopathic tendencies. Lawrence Fishburne plays the character so quietly that it completely slipped my mind. And I still want to know what's up with the wedding ring. Is his wife waiting for him at home? Is she buried under the porch? Did she leave him because all his pretty grad students kept falling in love with him and he was too clueless to realize it? Which is it? Inquiring minds want to know.

Next week: What's that? Nick in jeopardy again? Greg and I are thrilled with that prospect. Can't wait.

I couldn't bring myself to watch Bones tonight. I got about five minutes in, saw Angela and the sounds coming out of her mouth, and changed the channel to save my blood pressure. Oh, well. There's always Hulu.

Man, the Klopeks are at it with the garbage cans again. It's raining, dude. Give it a rest for ONE NIGHT so I can get some sleep, yeah?
