LMAO! I actually loved Elle. At least part of that was how open she was about her appreciation for and liking of Spencer. Morgan was so hard on Spencer, especially during season one, that I liked Elle saying things like, "Don't ever leave again".
That said, I hate the way she left the BAU. I was highly disappointed in her, and even though I could understand her feelings, it just really bugged me. I especially hated the way she blamed Hotch for her getting shot when 1) Gideon broke the Unsub's rules, and 2) that other FBI guy didn't stay with her.
Plus she is just another person in a long string of people whom Spencer has loved and had walk away from him.
*sigh*
But anyway. LOL It's late. I should totally go to bed.
I loved Elle too! But you know, in the beginning my sister and her husband hated J.J. I refused to speak to them until they came to their senses.
The way they wrote Elle out pissed me off a lot. I felt it was pretty out of character, and it always bothered me that she blamed Hotch for something that he really didn't have anything to do with. Sure, he was in charge, but he's not God.
But now we have Paget and I love her even more, so it's all good.
LOL Oh dear, I have to confess...I disliked JJ too. However, I think that was more a reaction to fandom pairing her with Reid because of one football game "date". LOL But I had been growing in appreciation for her a lot during Season 3, and now that we have Jordan Todd around mucking everything up, I keep saying, "OMG I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL JJ'S BACK!" And now Severity and I have even written a Hotch/JJ fic. *G*
And yes, I definitely love Paget more. I think she's very much a female version of Hotch, softened only a tiny bit, insofar as she compartmentalizes so well and is sort of emotionally very quiet, if that makes sense. I love the way she listens, though. She listens with her whole body.
I love JJ because I love Will&JJ, but I liked her fine from the beginning. Probably because I wasn't in the fandom when I started watching, which was three full seasons after everyone else, so I had no fangirls being overbearing :)
Are you aware (I'm sure you are) that you have 14 CSI icons??? Plus at least 3 from CSI Miami (Or, as I like to call it TheShowThatWillNotBeMentioned)? I think you love Nick (or Ick as Chloe says) and Greg (Geg) more than you're owning up to!
I must admit that the new CM icon is awesome...and it may be that soon there will be more of them than us. It will be a sad day.
I count twelve CSI icons and eight Criminal Minds. I only uploaded this new, dorky CM icon because I realized I had an overabundance of Spencer icons, and only two with Derek. Which is weird, because I relate so much better to Derek. But I guess the fact that I relate to him is what's making me obsess about Spencer, so it's all good.
Anyway, no worries. I still love Nick the best :) I stole this new CSI icon off artistic_sillie on Friday night. I was looking for a new Nick icon, but I couldn't find anything I loved. Then I saw his arms in this one and...well, they really speak for themselves.
I recounted. 'Cause I'm just that lame. I got thirteen...but upon reading the captions one of the pictures that I credited as CSI you don't. I think it is from an episode, but it's not the regular cast. The girl in bed? On her back clutching the sheets to her chest? No?
Eee MGG's little dorky/hot face! (skinny pale boys are my lesbian kryptonite. Add in hands like his and I am *gone*.)
Hahaha re your sister; I liked Elle, and I'm rewatching the beginning of season 2 where Prentiss shows up and I am all Eeeugh Emily. Even though laters when she has a personality I will kind of like her.
Third thingie; maybe you will know this. I have the season one DVD rip downloads of CM. Some of the music on the DVD version of season one is different to what aired on TV. This is driving me crazy; there's a song at the end of "1x06: LDSK" on the dvd, and the lyrics go "....I have no regrets, I've done my best with the tools I've been given. The hardest thing in the world to believe is that where we are is right where we belong."
In my head this is on my list of Reid songs; I swear I've even heard it before but google has failed me. Any ideas?
PS your Sideways mix is still on heavy rotation in my mp3 player. I love Citizen Cope now and it's all on you. ;)
I'm afraid I have no idea; sorry. Someone on a forum mentioned Band Of Horses' The Funeral, but the lyrics don't match. Since I have only ever seen the DVD version of season one I never noticed that they replaced the original (I think it was Hallelujah originally? Which...stop it with that song already.)
I liked Elle fine, but I hated the way she left. Then I fell in love with Emily and I was okay with it :)
Elle was okay, but she went a little crazy there at the end. I'm so glad you're enjoying the show! Rossi is the new guy; he takes awhile, but he grows on you.
He's growing on me allot, he fits in. And I like how they went about it, and let us see the team working without Jason, and then let Rossi come in. They didn't shove him down peoples throats. I like.

I'm kind of in love with this series. I'm about to get to the episodes where the new guy (unsure of his name) comes in to replace Jason.
I'm in love with so much about this show though, Spencer and MGG, and his HANDS. Goodness.
