Advent Calendar Day 3
On day three I offer you two tracks from a new holiday music compilation put out by Brushfire Records, which is Jack Johnson's label. There are some familiar artists on this one, such as Jack himself, along with Mason Jennings and Neil Halstead. As a longtime fan of Neil's, I am offering you his track, along with a track by Zee Avi.
I will post a couple more tracks from this compilation later on, but I encourage you to purchase the album if you like what you hear. 25% of proceeds go to support children's music education, so you're getting some great music as well as doing something good for kids. I have a sad, sad tale to tell about the demise of my ten-year companion, my beloved coffee press, but it's too depressing, so I'm going to skip it and go write some of those ficlet requests instead while I drink terrible work coffee. In the meantime, there's new Criminal Minds fic around here somewhere to hold you over.
ETA: Oh, hey, Catholics reading my journal (lapsed or practicing), I forgot to ask you a question. Does the church make frowny faces about things like smoking? I am asking in a purely rhetorical fashion. Maybe.
