Fic: innascible (CSI, Nick/Greg, PG)

Jan 01, 2006 13:58

So I drank some last night, which always makes me a little maudlin, which resulted in me thinking up a whole list of resolutions I should be making for 2006. But here's the thing: It's January 1st, and it's 80 degrees outside. It's gorgeous and summery and I just cannot get used to this weather. So instead of being maudlin and dwelling on all ( Read more... )

okay, first of all LMAO at Warrick at the end. Heh.

Second. Ooh, I loved, loved, loved the Nick/Greg, even though you broke from your usual timeline it worked perfectly in canon and it felt right for their feelings. And Nick is just so cute and Greg is too for that matter. Loved this.

I only threw Warrick in there so I could get in a little subtle Warrick/Sara hinting. 'Cause I'm lame like that. But I am looking forward to him ditching the wife so I can go back to fantasizing without guilt of being a homewrecker.

Sara/Warrick hinting works for me. Actually, do you listen commentaries? Because on the one Gary Dourdan does for s2 he says his mother or father -- someone, thinks he and Sara are having a heated affair. Something to that effect.

Personally, I loved poor Greg thinking that while he pined for Nick, Nick was pining for Warrick. Poor boy.

Aw. Warrick's family is made up of fen. That's awesome. I never listen to commentary because I don't like to pay that much attention while I watch. I should put that on my list of things to do next time I get too sick to get out of bed, though.

Hooray! Nick and Greg from you again!

(I can't think about rewatching "Grave Danger" again, either. I had a dream of the episode with a better ending where Greg gets Nick out and then kisses him in front of everyone and nobody cares.) (In the dream, I was watching the episode on television and was gobsmacked that they were actually showing it.)

See, I haven't seen it at all. I know what happens and Greg's disappointing lack of reaction and all, but I'm afraid of a) the agony of actually watching, and b) the torrent of plot bunnies that I know would follow.

He probably won't ditch her. She'll probably die or get kidnapped or wounded in the line of fire. Because CSI's not going to go for logical/real at this stage of the game. And then there will be more angst.

*headdesk* Or I could totally reply to the wrong comment. I meant that one for Rachel. *sighs* I'm going home, now.

My favorite part of this was Warrick; because he doesn't belong with Tina he belongs with Sara and that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Thanks, glad you liked. Warrick is scary and hard to write (for me, anyway), so I always worry. I'm relieved by people's reaction to him : )

Oh, I don't mind sharing at all! This was fabulous. The resolution to be boring fits Nick very well, the poor guy could use a bit of boring... but breaking it to be with Greg, heh, is somehow very apropos. (AND HOT)

Bonus! you included Warrick. I agree with Nick's assessment of the marriage and he would certainly dislike the idea that he's the reason behind it. And hee! Greg thought he had a thing for Warrick. Heh.

I'm going to pretend that you mentioned the word 'series' and sit on my hands. Honest.

Hee. Thanks, I'm glad it lived up to expectation. Poor Nick, he could use a little boring in his life. But then, he could use a lot of Greg in his life too, and really I think he'd prefer the latter.

Writing Warrick always terrifies me, so I do it in small doses. Truth is he's just way, way cooler than I'll ever be, so getting his voice right is hard. I write dork so much more easily : )

Warrick is pretty cool, but he's still a science dork at heart. You did great!

Aw, that was so good and I think it was great even without the porn because the whole making out bit? Is hot enough to stand on its own. ;)

And I just have to say that I love Nick. He is one character I will always love and the way you write him makes me love him more.

I'm a big fan of making out. Big, big fan. And I'm a big fan of Nick, too (obviously). Thanks : )
