I confess that I was just a little bit terrified that this would fall completely flat and leave everyone going, "Wait. What the fuck just happened?" So I'm very, very glad that wasn't your reaction. Well, it was, but in the way I intended, not in the bad, 'Caroline, you are on crack' way.

This was my plan from way back, but I started to get nervous after reaction to the last few parts that people would hate it. So again, very relieved. Thanks for that.

It's taken me two weeks to write two pages, but hey, progress.

I'm hoping by the end it will all make sense. And that no one will feel short-changed that I didn't write some big, epic battle between Marcus and Luc. Because that would have just been cheesy and lame since I am really not good at writing those things.

::thinks of currently stalled horror novel::

::cringes::

I still need to read the whole thing, but I loved this regardless. And I'm glad you are writing again.

Thanks. It took two weeks to write this, so who knows how long the next part will take, but progress is progress.

Thanks, glad you're enjoying. I knew no one was really expecting this turn of events, which is why I spent a lot of time worrying about whether or not I was doing the right thing. But I hope by the end it will all make sense. ::fingers crossed::

Oh wow. *WIDE EYES* That was... wow. Ahh! Marcus you doof! How could you do that to Harlan? This is amazing, Caroline. I love the whole skip into the future bit. I never would have expected this.

But eee! First I was psyched over the new H/M story and now I'm psyched over this whole new beginning for them. I love how you took the story of the movie and made it yours. (They really should just sign over the rights straight away.)

All I can say is that this is wonderful and I'm stoked that it's Harlan still in love with Marcus (How could he not be?) and Marcus not even knowing what he's in for. Heh. I love it. <3

Thanks; I hope the execution lives up to the promise. I'll be telling the six year gap backwards, more or less, so I don't know how long it will take me, but I'm not planning on too many more parts. This thing is already way too long as it is.

Six years? Now there's a time jump.
Also, this is good. I missed this series.

Well college years go by really quickly, and then it's all downhill from there.
