A couple weeks ago I was toying with the idea of not posting the next six parts of this series until they were all written. At the time I was well and truly stuck on the third paragraph of this particular fic, and the direction for the next five parts was pretty different. Then I got halfway through this part, and suddenly the entire series ( Read more... )

And now you know why I was thinking about just waiting and posting the next six parts at once. I just didn't want to stress anybody out. So I'm sorry, but...um. Hang in there?

There's more! *happy*

Ooh. I'm all curious as to whats going to happen next. The 'confrontation' was going to happen eventually, its just..not fun when it does. I like the fluff and happyness.

Fluff and happiness is nice, but after awhile it gets a little hard to keep it interesting. Besides, there are all these issues to deal with. Thanks : )

All six parts wouldn't have been bad, and I think we would have waited patiently. Unless they were all as nerve-wracking as this one. Then we probably all would have died from the pain and agony. Poor, poor boys.

Yeah, see, I didn't want to kill anyone. So maybe it's just as well that I post as I write.

::blink:: All six at once might have been a little hard to take. Now I'm just going twitch a bit because I just *know* Marcus is going to do something stupid.

Well the all-six-at-once version was different than this. It was more of a rolling build-up to the anxiety rather than a sneak attack.

If it makes you feel any better, I've started the next part already, so unless Marcus freezes up on me the way Harlan did, it shouldn't be too long a wait. To be honest I think Harlan was refusing to cooperate because of what I was planning to do to him. Apparently he's happier with the new plan, although I couldn't tell you why.

Right. Anyway, I'm glad it works for you, because this stuff really does need to be dealt with. Some of it, anyway. But I'll shut up now and go work on the next part before finals crunch is officially upon me.
