Fic: Hidden Waterfalls (LITB, Wally/Eddie, R)

Apr 22, 2004 11:42

Only, you know, the Beav's not actually in the fic. But there is Wally/Eddie smut. I can't even wrap my brain around those two having sex and I wrote it, so I'm making no judgments about my own characterization this time. Written in conjunction with the five_acts community, which is where the link will take you. For justmightbe, for so very many reasons. No cooking sherry this time, Jane. But that just means there will be more Wally/Eddie porn.

Title: Hidden Waterfalls
Fandom: Leave It to Beaver
Pairing: Wally/Eddie
Rating: R
Spoilers: for the movieverse, yes
Archive: no thank you
Summary: We shall not cease from exploration/And the end of all our exploring/Will be to arrive where we started/And know the place for the first time.

Disclaimer: So not mine. And the whole world breathes a sigh of relief.

Author's note: This is only my second foray into this fandom, and this one is most definitely movieverse. I don't know if the guys ever camped out in the back yard on the show, but they did in the movie. The party details are directly from the movie too and when they give me scenes like that I don't know how they expect me not to slash them. Also, I really like the idea of Clueless!Eddie and Take!Charge secret sex fiend Wally. Because nobody's that repressed without a few really good secrets, and the world is in desperate need of Leave It to Beaver porn.

Based on: Jane wanted frottage. This isn't back to front, but I can barely get these two to kiss, so I did the best I could.

Word Count: 2440

Eddie pulled back the tent flap and poked his head inside, frowning at the sight of Wally sitting on top of the pile of sleeping bags by himself. He was used to Beaver following Wally pretty much everywhere, and he couldn't remember the last time they'd camped out in Wally's back yard alone. Maybe back when they were kids, when camping out was still cool. Now it was just kind of corny, but Wally still seemed to like it, and if it meant Eddie got to spend the night he wasn't going to argue.

Only there was no Beaver talking a mile a minute about his dopey little life, and Eddie's stomach tightened into a hard knot as he dropped to his knees and crawled inside. "Where's the squirt?"

"He's sleeping over at Lumpy's," Wally answered, not quite meeting Eddie's gaze and yeah, he was definitely nervous. About what Eddie wasn't positive, but he had a feeling it might have something to do with the thing that was causing the knot in his stomach. They hadn't talked about the kiss since the day it happened - they'd never talked about it at all, really, because as soon as they left Wally's room it was like it never happened.

But Eddie remembered every detail, and lately he'd caught Wally looking at him in a way that made him think Wally remembered too. It didn't happen often, but once or twice over the past couple weeks he'd looked up to find Wally looking at him funny, like maybe he was trying to see inside Eddie. As soon as Wally realized Eddie was looking he always turned away, but he always blushed too and Eddie was pretty sure that meant…something.

He still didn't know what, and he wasn't about to ask because he knew Wally wouldn't tell him anyway. But Wally hadn't tried to get back together with Karen, and he hadn't started mooning over any of the other girls in their class yet, and as long as he didn't have to listen to Wally talking about some girl Eddie didn't mind not knowing what he was brooding about.

"So you gonna read ghost stories to me all night?" he asked, tossing himself down onto the sleeping bag next to Wally's. He just barely grazed the other boy's knee on the way down, but Wally flinched away from the touch and the knot in Eddie's stomach tightened just a little more.

"You know I only do that to scare Beaver."

And it was true, but it was what they always did when they camped out, and he wasn't sure what they were supposed to do all night if Wally wasn't trying to scare anybody. "Man, what a dope. I can't believe he still gets scared of the same old stories."

"He's just a little kid," Wally answered, legs crossed in front of him and he still looked nervous. Like they hadn't known each other their whole lives, practically. This was the first time they'd been alone since that day in Wally's room, though, and Eddie was starting to wonder if Wally invited him over while Beaver was gone for a reason.

His skin felt hot, kind of itchy the way it had when Wally kissed him, and he really wanted to lean over and kiss Wally again. But he'd still only done it that one time, and he didn't want to mess it up and look like a dope. Instead he shifted a little closer, stretching out and bracing his hands behind him on the sleeping bag. "If I'd known you were just gonna sit around and stare at me all night I woulda brought my homework or something."

"You doing homework on a Saturday? Yeah, right."

Eddie's stomach fluttered a little when Wally grinned at him, and he couldn't help grinning back. "You coulda done it for me. You like that junk."

Wally rolled his eyes at that, shifting a little closer and dropping his voice like maybe he was worried there was somebody out there listening. Eddie wouldn't put it past Wally's parents, especially his dad; sure, Wally thought he was great, but Eddie thought he was kind of a creep.

"I thought we could talk."

"Talk? About what?" Eddie asked, and he was starting to think there was something alive in his stomach, and any second now it was going to claw its way out.

"The other day…" Wally began, pausing and clearing his throat before he continued, "…who else have you kissed?"

"What?"

"That day," Wally said, cheeks flushed when he looked up and it was obvious exactly what day he was talking about, "you said…well, you made it sound like you'd done it before. I was just wondering who with, is all."

"You were there," Eddie answered, fighting back a surge of panic and he was glad he didn't blush as easily as Wally. "That girl at Karen's party."

Wally was shaking his head before Eddie finished talking, and the knot in his stomach tightened until he was sure he was going to throw up. "No you didn't. She told Karen you chickened out at the last minute."

"I didn't chicken out. I just didn't want to kiss her. Did you see her teeth? I've got standards, you know."

He could tell by the way Wally was looking at him that he wasn't buying it. It was partly true; he hadn't wanted to kiss the girl at the party, but that didn't mean he hadn't wanted to kiss anyone at the party. And okay, maybe he was a little worried that he'd be bad at it and she'd tell everyone. At least he didn't have to worry about Wally blabbing to the whole school about how he kissed.

"Why'd you lie?"

Eddie shrugged with one shoulder, sitting up and pulling his knees toward him. "Are you kidding? I didn't want all those losers at the party knowing my personal business."

"So why didn't you just kiss her? Was it because…you know, 'cause she's a girl?"

"No." He scowled at that, because he wasn't going to put up with his best friend going around thinking he was…like that. He wasn't sure what he was - there were a few girls he'd thought about kissing before, but he hadn't wanted his first time to be with some girl he didn't know. Someone he couldn't guarantee wouldn't laugh at him. "I like girls. Just not that one."

Wally was nodding like that actually made some kind of sense, and Eddie hoped it did because he was pretty sure he couldn't explain it. "So you never…before the other day, I mean."

He expected Wally to be mad, and maybe he was, a little. He wasn't smiling, anyway, and Eddie was pretty sure that meant it wasn't going to happen again. And he really didn't want to talk about it, because it was bad enough that he wanted it to happen again without having to rehash the whole thing.

"Look," he said, rolling his eyes and stretching out on his sleeping bag, "I'm beat. If you're gonna talk all night I'm going home."

He rolled onto his side and closed his eyes, back to Wally and even though he wasn't looking he could feel the disappointed look. He knew that look - he'd seen it more times than he could count, but he wasn't falling for it this time. The last thing he wanted to do was talk about this, not with Wally or anybody. It wasn't even a big deal, it was just…something that happened. And he could deal with the fact that it was never going to happen again if Wally would just shut up about it.

A few seconds later Wally sighed and switched off the flashlight, and Eddie let out the breath he'd been holding. He listened while Wally laid down next to him, wondering just for a second what Wally would do if Eddie rolled over and pressed against him. Only he knew exactly what Wally would do, and he wasn't going through that again. He'd seen the panic in Wally's eyes right after that first kiss, and even in the dark he knew he'd be able to see it the second time.

So he didn't roll over - he didn't even move, he even breathed as quietly as possible. If he had to lie there wide awake all night just to make sure he didn't accidentally touch any part of Wally he would.

"Hey, Eddie?"

His heart skipped a beat at the sound of his name, brain stalling for a second before he finally remembered how to work his voice. "Yeah?"

"Did you…you know, like it?"

Eddie let out a frustrated sigh and rolled onto his back, squinting into the darkness until he found Wally on his side, propped up on one elbow and watching him. "I already told you, you've got nothing to worry about."

"Yeah, but I mean…" Even in the darkness he could tell Wally was blushing, stammering his way through the question and it made Eddie feel a little better. It made him braver, anyway, and he smirked and pushed himself up until he was facing Wally.

"Why? You want to get in some more practice?"

It was just a joke. He was just trying to embarrass Wally, to get under his skin the way Wally was embarrassing him. He didn't expect the seconds of heavy silence or the little shrug, and he definitely didn't expect Wally to be suddenly close enough for Eddie to feel the heat radiating off him. He'd never expected Wally to want…he wasn't even sure what Wally wanted, but he wasn't about to turn it down.

As soon as Wally moved Eddie did too, sliding closer in the dark until they were almost nose to nose. And it was weird seeing his best friend from this close up - the first time it happened so fast he didn't really clue in until after it already happened, but this time Wally's hand was on his shoulder and his mouth was kind of open and Eddie couldn't help it, he had to lean in and press their lips together.

Wally made that noise in his throat and gripped Eddie's shoulder hard, practically dragging him onto the other sleeping bag and he landed with a grunt on Wally's chest. And he got the feeling Wally had been thinking about this for awhile, but he couldn't ask because his mouth was busy trying to memorize the shape of Wally's lips. He could just taste the mint of Wally's toothpaste, and without thinking his tongue darted out, sliding past Wally's teeth.

Another moan, louder this time and Wally's fingers were digging into his shoulder so hard he was pretty sure he was going to have a mark. He pushed back against Wally's hand, shifting his weight just enough to force the other boy to let go. As soon as he did Eddie lost his balance, catching himself with one knee just before he fell on top of Wally. And he wasn't sure how it happened, but somehow he found himself straddling his best friend's hips, hands braced on either side of Wally's shoulders and staring down at wide eyes he could just make out in the darkness.

It was a little embarrassing now that they weren't preoccupied with the whole kissing thing, but before he could make a joke out of it and climb off Wally's hand closed around his shirt and dragged him forward. He barely had time for a startled grunt before Wally's mouth covered his again, lips parted and Eddie wasn't positive, but he had a feeling that meant Wally wanted him to do that thing with his tongue again.

He'd always thought of himself as an accommodating guy, so he opened his mouth and slid his tongue along Wally's bottom lip. It was a little…weird, licking his best friend like his mouth was made of candy, but when Wally groaned and sucked Eddie's tongue into his mouth he decided it wasn't so bad after all. Wally was moving under him, hands clutching at his back, and Eddie settled between his legs and tried to match his rhythm, a startled gasp escaping his lips when he felt Wally's dick press against his for the first time.

He thrust forward again, mouth still pressed against Wally's and just sort of breathing against him, hips moving helplessly and when Wally pushed down hard on his back and pushed up just as hard with his hips Eddie moaned against his mouth and came. It would have been embarrassing if it didn't feel so good, and besides, Wally was still pressing up against him and a few seconds later he squeezed his eyes shut and tensed under Eddie.

It was hard to tell if Wally came too; he couldn't ask, and he couldn't exactly reach down and find out, so Eddie shifted experimentally, thigh pressed against Wally's crotch and he wasn't hard anymore, so that was a good sign. Wally groaned when Eddie shifted again, hands tightening on his waist and pushing until Eddie took the hint and disentangled himself from Wally's legs. And he wanted more - more and more, but Wally was already pulling away, so he rolled onto his back and carefully didn't look at the other boy.

He thought maybe he should say something, make a joke to lighten the mood a little, but he could practically feel Wally already brooding over on his side of the tent and Eddie knew it wouldn't do any good. Still, Wally was the one who kissed him, and he was the one who'd dragged Eddie onto his sleeping bag, so maybe he wasn't as freaked out about all this as Eddie expected him to be. At least there was a chance it might happen again, at least if they could ditch Beaver long enough to find a little time alone.

Eddie folded his arms behind his head and stared up at the top of the tent, listening to Wally breathing a few feet away until the sound turned shallow and even. And he couldn't believe Wally had actually fallen asleep - there was no way he was getting any sleep tonight, not when his underwear were sticking to him and he could still taste Wally on his lips. For a few seconds he thought about going home, sneaking up to his bathroom to wash up and crawl into his own bed. But if he stayed there was always the chance Wally would want to experiment some more, and there was no way Eddie was going to pass up that chance.

I'm still not caught up with my comments. Also, it's supposed to snow eight inches tonight, and I'm ignoring Speed and Tyler to slash Eddie Haskell. The world makes no sense anymore.
