Fic: (WAT, Danny/Martin, PG)

Apr 21, 2004 10:40

Remember awhile back when I took requests for ficlets based on my icons? Well celli requested this icon, and I must admit I was pretty stumped. But last night I wrote a little ficlet to cheer up nekosmuse and it fits the icon pretty much perfectly and...yeah, okay, this is totally cheating.

I'm lame. I make no excuses. I'm also in a really lousy mood, so it's entirely possible this is the only writing you'll be getting out of me today. Which could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your perspective.

"Oh God...yeah, right there."

Danny grinned at Martin's appreciative groan and did as he was told, shifting into just the right position to hit the spot that made Martin flex under him and push back against his hands.

"God..." Martin murmured again, words muffled against the pillow and Danny was starting to like the idea of Martin worshipping him. He pressed a little harder, surprising a startled yelp out of Martin as he shifted one knee further up on the mattress.

"Relax, Martin," he said, words whispered against Martin's shoulderblades. "You're so tense."

Martin moaned something that might have been English, but the words were lost in the white cotton sheets pressed against his cheek. Danny grinned and shifted again, hands soothing down the length of Martin's back. "What was that?"

"I said," Martin answered, pausing to take in a sharp breath when Danny's thumbs dug in hard on either side of his spine, "that you...God...that you're in the wrong business."

He laughed at that, hands working out a particularly stubborn knot in Martin's back. "If I did this for a living you think I'd do it for you for free?"

He could picture Martin's smile against the pillowcase, eyes still closed as he let out a soft laugh. "Point taken. Besides, I kind of like having my own private masseur."

Danny rolled his eyes and trailed his hands up Martin's shoulders, leaning in to press a soft kiss to the top of Martin's spine before he climbed off the other man and let Martin roll onto his back. "If you weren't so damn tense you wouldn't need me."

For a second Martin didn't answer, and if he wasn't staring at Danny with that unnerving Fitzgerald stare Danny might have thought he'd fallen asleep. But he'd known Martin for a long time, and he knew when the other man was weighing his words. So he waited, one hand resting low on Martin's chest until a hand closed around his wrist to tug him down onto the mattress.

He let Martin wrap strong arms around him, pulling him close to brush warm lips across his neck just below his ear. And when Martin finally answered it was so soft that for a second Danny thought he'd imagined it, but he could feel a little of the tension he'd just worked so hard to get rid of creeping back into Martin's body, and he ran his hands soothingly over the other man's back as Martin whispered the words again.

"I'd still need you."
