Fic: See Me Through (24, Tim/Kyle, PG)
So I went into work again today for no apparent reason to fill out paperwork. Funnily enough, the voices in my head are starting to be put out by this turn of events. They don't seem to understand why I need to go back to work, particularly at a job where I'll have to actually, you know, work. They've been spoiled by the fact that I've done nothing for the past nine months but hang around and write fic, and then the months preceding that when all I did was write fic all day at my job.
Just wait until they find out I'm finally getting around to applying to grad school. Heh. Although my new job is going to kick in some money for that, so go me.
I got to my appointment with the HR guy a little early this morning, so while I was waiting around I jotted down a few notes for one of the New Year's Resolution challenge fics I was thinking about writing (sorry, virtualinsomnia, I swear I will write your sequel eventually. Soon. Very soon.). I shouldn't have, but I couldn't resist. It's short, though, and it's pre-slash, which I hardly ever write, so I'm kind of fond of it.
Anyway, if anyone on my flist happens to be really bored interested in pre-slash featuring two very minor characters from season three of 24, you can read See Me Through. Tim/Kyle (aka Baby Coke Dealer -- see icon), PG. Requested by the lovely and talented and most deserving mlleelizabeth, who has put up with -- nay, encouraged -- my obsessive love for all things Riley Smith since I stalked friended her for having Voodoo Academy listed as an interest in her LJ.
And now I swear I am going to go finish the Miami Fic In Which Nothing Happens. As soon as I take some aspirin. Although my cat is asleep in the center of my bed and my God, she looks comfortable. It's very tempting to shove her out of the way and take a nap.
