Praying Mantis :D That's our State Bug, there is a Praying Mantis statue on top of what they laughingly call a clock tower (Back to the Future mocks it) in the Fox Run Plaza in town... they did this whole awful overhaul of the plaza after Whole Foods moved in... I hate it. The Praying Mantis Statue is sort of strange, and tops it all off like a weird cherry.

Thank you! It is indeed a great hat. I bought it specifically to go with a great blue coat I bought on clearance last year. (Now I just need to lose 20 pounds so I can wear it.)

The jacket lining is perfect. Perhaps that means I'm all about the tacky too? I'm surprisingly ok with that.

My cat perches "nose down" too. I should have named her "Chevy". It's a good thing they don't care that we're amused by them.

That hat! SO CUTE! I am jealous of your sewing skills. Love the Bengals PJ bottoms. I folded a couple shirts to pack and I packed the Bengals shirt. And the fin shirt. And I almost packed my Ohio State shirt in honor of imaginary OSU alums Finn Hudson and Noah Puckerman.
