Mostly for my mom's benefit.
I duct taped it in the dark. This is what it looked like when I woke up the next morning:
Luckily the outer glass broke but the inner glass stayed mostly intact, so I didn't have a carpet full of glass to deal with on top of the flood waters that came in when the window fell out of the frame.
And after I got home from work I covered it in cardboard:
That's the box Cardboard Cory came in. Or maybe it was Cardboard Matt. It's hard to say. Either way, my laziness about taking cardboard to the recycling center finally came in handy.
The window is in danger of falling out and shattering further, which is why I put up the cardboard. Also it's gotten cold here again thanks to the storms, and it was letting in a lot of cold air. I'll have to get someone to look at it this week. Ah, the joys of home ownership.
