It takes a real man......
.....to iron a girdle! lol. Saturday night we were getting dressed to go to a wedding reception, and I couldn't find my girdle. Well, I had to have it, and then I remembered that Bob had put it in the wash with his whites. So it was still in the washing machine. I told Bob that I didn't know what I was going to do because I needed to wear it. Well, next thing I know, he takes the girdle out of the washing machine, puts it on the ironing board and starts ironing it so it will dry. And it did dry...pretty quickly, too! lol. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. What a sweet man he is!
We had his birthday dinner yesterday afternoon. It was so fun. His family and my family were here, and we had a great time. I know he enjoyed it, so that was nice. My mom and grandmother spent the night with us, so I spent the day with them today while Bob was at work. We just had such a good time. I love spending time with my mom. She is seriously one of the coolest and sweetest people I've ever met. And she even brought me two pairs of Reef flip-flops! One of our favorite shoe stores in Columbia is going out of business, and all their shoes were on sale. So she got me two pairs of Reefs....my favorite!! What a great Mom!! :)
