Thank you! I feel like Casey's a good choice to put in any story as the first lines of support and/or talking-to's. He's one of the few characters who won't let Luke get away with stuff!

Luke ignored any and all feelings. Any of them, all of them. Nope. “Noah doesn’t do casual,” was what came out of his mouth in response. He could hold onto that, that was just a universal truth.

HA- originally this story was going to be more AU, and Casey was going to be the "Timon" character when Luke runs away. But nope. He needed to be home for Noah. It's better this way :) If Luke's The Talker and Noah's The Thinker.... Casey's The Bro.

gosh that is heartbreaking so much happened so many ( hidden) emotions

Thank you!! It was hard at first to figure out how Luke would find out about everything, but Casey's always a fun voice to write in so it worked out.

And everything is better with Emma in it :)
