I'm updating for Ann because she made snide comments at lunch club about me not updating ;) (I really love her, even though she's abandoning me for Prague)
I've made a few strategic life decsions in the past few days. Starting with the fact that I'm not sure I want to do news as a career anymore. I really am starting to look at media relations and creative services and promotions. So I'm applying for a few different internships than I'd originally thought: MTV, CMT, a PR firm in Virginia Beach that my dad's friend runs, and I'm going to get in touch with the Panthers media relations department in the next few days to see if they have any openings. I'm so nervous about some of those big ones (aka, MTV, CMT) but if I get them, it'd be SO worth it.
So broken foot needs to heal about YESTERDAY because I'm starting my 10k training with Caroline...and it's hard to run when it's incredibly painful to even walk.
Today was definately my last day of class...AMAZING. All I have left it going to watch our 3210 movies and have them critiqued, then DG initiation/officer installation (I got director of COB with Rickles!) and then, me and my co-officer (and anyone else we can get) are going DOWNTOWN to celebrate the end of this school thing, and it's going to be amazing. If you're in Athens, you're invited. Call me for details. Ann, Kristen & Allison are at the top of my list for people who better be coming ;)
That pretty much sums it up though. Applying for amazing internships, Broken foot that needs to heal, Classes are over, Getting very drunk tonight.
