You know you are a nerd when....
Actually, I am a nerd in many ways, but my particular nerd incident of the day is this: I am trying to decide whether to friend my brother-in-law on myspace. Not that I don't like him, because I adore him. But he's in a band and some of the salacious comments chicks are leaving him totally gross me out. Which I know isn't his fault. But still. Also, I know I am a big geek for being a grown up with a myspace page. Not that he isn't a grown up with a myspace page, but his is mostly band/music related and what not.

Oh, by the way, here's my favorite Christmas gift received so far: The Dynamics of Real Estate Capital Markets: A Practitioner's Perspective. It is, obviously, from my boss. Shoot me now.
I really am not happy at work again. It is mostly my fault. Well, it's entirely my fault if you take into account the fact that I'm took a job that I am not well-suited for, but this is just going to start a whole bunch of whingeing about how I don't know what to do with my life, so I will stop here.
