Had to get up earlier than I like to get to the out-patient surgery part of the local horsepistol before 6:45 this morning. Prep took about 1 1/2 hrs. procedure took about 15 min. Wake up/feel ok/etc took another 2 hrs. If the hospital charges by the 1/2 hr. like some of the better motels in town, I'm doomed.
The little procedure was a little invasive, but no cutting or blood or anything. Just a peek inside to check things - all okay. The up side to this was the nurse telling John & me that I must take it easy for the next 24 hrs, no driving, cleaning, cooking, etc...just lying around.
The cats were really happy to see us back. Our leaving the house before it was very light out confused them & they were both blinking with sleepy eyes when we left.
