It's a beautiful, cold, snow covered day. John and I just returned from a walk to the Post Office. People wave as they drive past us - John says it's so we won't jump out in front of their cars - ha. They are just friendly.
I'm reading the latest Terry Pratchett story, Nation. It's different from his usual tales of witches & werewolves & dwarves & such on Disc World. This story is set on our world in the 1800s following a tsunami that wipes out many islands and people in the southern seas. I'm enjoying the story very much but am also reading it way too fast. Poor old Terry has early onset Alzheimer's & there will only be so many stories coming out of him from now on. I hate to think of ending this one & maybe it being the last.
When I'm done with it I'll pass it on to Jeanne or Jack or both, er...they can duke it out who gets it first. I think Jack will be busy with wife & baby & home soon & little time for reading until Ceilidh is in her late teens. :) Boy, do I remember that phase.
Just rambling on - I love everyone who reads this and some who don't. C
