(no subject)
I haven't been posting much lately because I'm been sorta busy. :) There's something going on that I don't really want to talk about yet but its impossible to open my mouth without talking about it, but i promise it will be a nice surprise. :) Don't worry, I'm not pregnant, that would not be a nice surprise for me at all at this point hahaha. In other news, Chris has been staying away from the house a lot lately. He's been in Portland for the last few weeks with his girlfriend and Lucas, so that's been nice for both of us. It's cut down on the awkwardness a lot. Cherie seemed really nice in the ten minutes I spent with her, although I'm pretty sure she's not "the one," she seems like a decent girlfriend and everything. :) And I could be totally wrong, you never know. At work, Ashley got moved to the other store to manage, and Tellina left to work full time at her other job, so I was asked to start doing the schedules, which meant a little raise. :) And Christie and I were asked to be shift managers, which will mean another raise. So finally I have a few added responsibilites that I can put on a resume, which will be good because I'd like to find something else for fall. I'm toying with two ideas, moving to portland in fall and starting school to become a paralegal there, and possibly, but not probably, moving back home around fall and starting paralegal school there. I think becoming a paralegal would be a good entry into professional work and might pave the way for actually going into an library masters program later and maybe becoming a law librarian, but its a nice simple start where hopefully I won't run into quite as much stress as if i tried to hop straight into a masters program, which I probably wouldn't get accepted into as it stands now anyway. it'll give me the chance to prove myself capable, which will be a good confidence boost for me as well. alright thats enough of that for now. ttyl
