general ramblings.......

so now I'm in the final week for re-modelling the bathroom -- the tiler is in today and he's 'hopefully' finishing up his part of the job ready for the plumber to come in tomorrow. By weekend I should have a lovely new bathroom :) I have to admit it already feels better. The bathroom has become a mini-sanctuary -- I rarely get disturbed in their by family, the telephone or anyone else for that matter :) It's important that the room felt right - and when we bought the house a year ago - that was the main room that didn't feel right. It felt quite dark and small -- (Hungrycatapilla can testify to that) but now walls have been moved, a walk-in shower installed, a corner bath and best of all - all the nasty dark blue tiles with pink flowers have gone to be replaced with cream tiles :)

so peace now reigns :)

I was supposed to go into Manchester today to hunt through the newspapers archives for the new book I'm writing - but I put them off until friday - just got an email and it looks like ihave to work some more on the dreaded business plan. As you know - I like business - I enjoy most of it -- but writing business plans seems to suspend my creativity - lol.

well at the moment the office is quiet - usually the lull before the storm -- but it feels like a day where i will get alot done.

Reading: The American Boy -- very good so far -- reminds me of Wilkie Collins style.
Music: lookig for something new to listen to - but will fall back on the faithful few like U2, Creed etc
food: feels like a sushi day :)
