It has been weeks since I posted. Aren't you proud? Probably not because no one really reads this anymore. But I still keep it for my own sake, but I haven't kept up with it much lately, but now it's 2:30 on a random Saturday night and I thought I would update.

Bri's mom is here this weekend and we just made Irish car bombs, then I made my fruity cocktail concoctions and we played never-have-I-ever which was hilarious.

And on Leap Year Day we played leap frog in the parking lot of the Mont, then again outside our apartment, then we wrestled then we rolled down the hill, then Bri's boot hit my nose and it hurt for days but it was SUCH a fun night!

And I quit my crappy restaurant which is AWESOME because now I have my days completely free. And I ordered headshots and I like them so maybe I should sign with an agent or something so I can use them. I was getting so fed up with the crappy restaurant of crappy servers and managers, and rude customers. It was so bad, the managers are starting to have to take tables sometimes because they're so short-staffed. Too bad for them because I have a MUCH better restaurant that I'm working at. And I've had some ridiculously terrible experiences lately when dining out, and I have been SO proud to work at seriously the best restaurant in OKC. We just give amazing service to people and get lots of money. Period.

And I had my first "What are you doing with your life?" conversation with a guest yesterday when I was working. All through training I heard all kinds of stories of people just doing their job, waiting tables, and people are like, "What are you doing? Are you in school? Here's my card. I want someone like you who's working this amazing at just waiting tables." I've heard stories of people at work who have shaken hands with so many millionaires that they've lost count. And I finally had my first one of those conversations the other day, where the guy was so impressed with the service, that he wanted to know what I was doing with my life, and I seriously talked with him for 10 or 15 minutes (the plus side: I was away from my other tables for that long, but through our awesome teamwork system, those other tables were also getting amazing service from my co-workers! win-win!). Everything that I mentioned, this guy had done too. He does acting work some, he has a PHD from OU, he has taught English as a foreign language... we had a lot to talk about, and I was left a large tip, and assured that if he comes in again, he'll be telling the hostesses to take him right to my section.

I can never work in another restaurant again after working in this one. It's amazing.

Oh man well I've rambled about some things, there are probably other things that I wanted to ramble about too, but I need to get up in a few hours for work, so good night good night.
