nikko
yesterday we took the train to nikko, which is north of tokyo. traveling took pretty much all day so we just checked into the hote, ate dinner and went to bed. the hotel we're staying at is so cute. there are only 8 rooms and it's run by this monk who teaches yoga classes in the morning and cooks zen dinners at night.
today we went to three waterfalls on a lake. we couldn't see the first one because it was too foggy but then we took a ferry to the other side of the lake to see the other two and they were pretty good
anyway, tomorrow we're going to see the shrine where the founder of the tokugawa shogunate is buried. it's supposed to be pretty extravagant.
