(no subject)
I applied for a different position at work and i hope that i get it. If i don't, there's a good chance that I'm going to be unemployed at the end of this month. Other than that things are going swimmingly. I locked myself out of my house this morning and i had to get a ride to work from Corinne who thankfully had not left for work yet. There's this cat that i just noticed yesterday who likes to sleep under the holly bush in front of my house and so i gave it some food and water... it's just skin and bones, the poor thing... it was clearly someones cat at one point because its not afraid of me and when i put water down next to it it was already eating and it didn't run away or anything, and a cat that has never been around people wont let you near it at all... so anyway, i fed it yesterday and then went and did some errands and when i came back home it wasn't there anymore and i thought that that was possibly the last that i will see of that cat, but then i checked the bush right before i left for work this morning and it was back, so i ran inside and grabbed a can of cat food, ran back outside, shut the door so Tomas wouldn't try to see what i was doing and then get all jealous-kitty on me, fed the cat and went to go throw the can away... when all of a sudden... yeah, the door locked behind me. I forgot that i had locked it already and my keys and purse were on the other side of the door... so then i furiously pounded on the front door of Corinnes house and freak out a little when she didn't answer (this all happened about 5 minutes before 8 and i have to start work at 8 so this was no good) luckily she did eventually answer her door and i was able to get a ride with her... but i'm probably going to have to walk home this afternoon so i hope that it doesn't rain... actually, i think that corinne has to work until 5 today so i might be able to catch a ride home with her... woot!
