Talk about a busy dog-sport weekend/week!
Whew! I've been crazy busy this past weekend and this week with dog related stuff. Here it goes:
Saturday- I got invited to go to that agility demo with my ex-boyfriend's parents. I decided to go, I wanted to and the only thing that was keeping me from going was if Ryan was going to be there. But I went and I really did enjoy it. It was a nice change from the Rock-n-Roll K-9 obstacles and course layout. Blaze did awesome!
Sunday- Rock-n-Roll K-9's were at Willow Metro Park. It was at a car show. It was a real nice show and the weather was perfect. My Aunt and Uncle came out to see us. They really liked the show. I got to run Beau in flyball. I <3 him!
Monday/Tuesday- Practiced with Savvy in the front yard with a long leash. Worked with her coming to me through the tunnel. She did better than I thought and Im hoping she can soon do the Intro with the team.
Wednesday- Had another Rock-n-Roll K-9's show in Shelby. It was an evening show, our first one and before hand my mom was running around the house like a chicken with it's head chopped off. Donna with Minnie and Jack met us at our house and then we followed each other out there. Hour and 15 mins later we finally arrived. It was just us at this concert park area and the city had their cable company setting up cameras to film us. :) They set up 4 cameras! It was soo cool watchin them set up and watchin them work the cameras (when I wasnt doing anything for the show lol) I was practically in every event except for high jump. I didnt need to be out there to help either. Blaze was great in the Grand Prix, what else is new. lol The city even wrote an article about us in their paper. :)
Today (Thursday)- Worked with all three dogs in agility in the front yard. Savvy did good with the tug toy. Blaze... well, she always does good. And Princess does her normal slow pace but she's awesome too. I'm also working with Blaze on freestyle a little. You know, dancing. I'm trying to get her to do a backwards circle, literally. She knows backwards, but not making a circle...
The team managers got a call from the Americas Family Pet Expo asking us to come back this year. Hells yeah!! They told us not to come the past 2 years, because they found something 'better' than us. Well now they want us back and apologized for everything. It's November 14/15/16th.
Saturday my parents are going to the Ann Arbor Art Fair. Im not really an art far kinda girl so Im staying home. :)
