but really, my life is boring. I really don't have much to talk about. You want to hear about the idiot customers that shouldn't even own a computer? My kids and their wonderful antics? My relationship? It's the same thing day in and day out.
But today I'm a wholehearted geek!!!! I have started roleplaying again. I found a group that I get along with really well and they play all sorts of games. They started me out with a normal D&D game, but now we are creating characters for a MML (metal, magic & lore) game, and a silver aged sentinals game.
The MML game is a new design that a couple of people found when they went to gencon. If your interested tell me and I'll get you more info. It is basically like D&D but it works hard on being more realistic. For example, when you hit someone you have to roll to see where on their body you hit, then they take into account the armor on that part of their body. So you have five different areas all with their own hit points. Anyway, that is just a brief explanation, more if you're interested.
What I'm excited about today is the Superhero character I made last night. I love her and had to tell you guys. I have a mommy superhero. She has a kid at home, which makes life more difficult (my dm loves that twist to play against me), and she is afraid of spiders (if a spider is in her line of sight she will stop whatever she is doing, including fighting the bad guys, to kill the spider). She is very loosely based on the mom from the Incredibles, so she stretches up to 10x her body size. But we really played with making her. Her classes are acrobat and speedster, so you get the idea.
Anyway, my favorite part is her special attacks. She has the Ear Pull (a damage attack...and with her elasticity there is no ear she can't reach), the Time Out (a paralyzing attack, no damage) and a Rolling Pin (this is a damage attack with an auto fire..BAM BAM BAM).
Ok, Geek Attack is over....back to work for me!!!
