Two things I never expected, but happened to me this morning:
1. Standing in a bathroom stall in the county jail, hiking the top of my clinical uniform up, and using bandage scissors to cut the underwire out of my bra.
2. Being asked, 'So, you want to work with murderers?' by someone wearing an orange jumpsuit, who may or may not be a murderer.
