Wow its been a while...
I really should get in the swing of posting more regularly. Its a good way to focus the 'ol noodle.
Camping this weekend; its going to be HOT--as in 100 degrees plus--I still wonder if I woulndt be better off staying home and dunking in the pool. To top it off, its an SCA event, and shorts arent period. Still its Ducal Prize, and I usually have a blast at this event.
Just got done taking the week off. I spend last weekend in Reno with my best friend Aaron. It was not what I expected, really, but it was good to see him. I worry about his drinking and think I may have to stage an intervention of sorts. He's always been a partier, but lately it has an angry edge about it that I dont recognize. Living in a town that has 24-7 happy hours isnt helping I'm sure.
I also spent a few days in Tahoe with my parents and brother, which is something I havent done in years. It was really good to have a family vacation and it gave me a chance to clear my head from the weekend a bit as well as reconnect with my younger brother. Its hard to believe that he will be 30 this year!
Well, enough procrastination. I really must get off my ass and load the rest of the gear....
