Night before Day 1

enigmatic_wind ). Its a girls outing yo 8D As usual we took the bus down from Pudu and whoohoo... it came on time 8D. We waited at Pudu for some time and there was this really weird person staring constantly at us. It was kind of creepy. Thankfully nothing happened and we boarded the bus safely.
We didn't fly as fast to Singapore this time round. At least it took longer than 3 hours to reach customs at Johor >_>; We managed to reach Lavendar Bus Station at around 5 a.m. or so. Thankfully the people working at The Hive let us in to put our bags and we went to the Mc Donald's nearby for an early breakfast.
Day 1
I love the McD's in Singapore. Its just impossible not to love them. I mean with all the wonderful sets they have and the lack of oil used (compared to Malaysia's) it makes me wonder why Malaysia doesn't have such sets. I mean I would actually STEP INTO McD's here if they did. After breakfast and a whole lot of talk, we went back to the Hive to wait for
ultra_butterfly . So we gossiped and used the free internet there ^^
astellecia came around 10 plus then we made our way around certain parts of Singapore (arab streeet, chinatown etc etc) for the rest of the day 8D I will not even begin to describe the million and one types of cloth that we've never seen in Malaysia which we couldn't afford T_T We met
ithronluin too, I mean what are the odds that we go to Singapore thinking we wouldn't meet any of our Malaysian friends and we end up meeting there anyways 8DDD;;;;; Thanks to Akane who lent us her Kino card when we were shopping in Bugis XD
We went back to the Hive at around 3 plus to freshen up before dinner. Our idea of freshening up was more of total gossip session XD;; Lawl.

inuran followed us back to our dorm ( we conquered an entire dorm XD; It was joint with a private room though but twas ok). OMG I LOVE TALKING TO YOU GUYS. We had so much fun. Though personally i think we kind of scared them with talks about our Malaysian roads and systems. Oh dear. Wish we could talk longer ;___; We should have a yamcha session when you guys come up for CF or something XD And in the short span of 2 hours, Lenne taught us the 10 Commandments of kawaii japanese girls desu~

We left for dinner and went back to Bugis for dinner. (we met Sapphire and Kuzu back at Bugis station since they went to the zoo). We rempit-ed at the station while waiting for the others before heading for dinner. Maybe its just me but the Singaporean portions are HUGE O_O; I can't even finish a bowl of mee without feeling overly full. I bought Ais Kacang which came to me in this totally... colourful... portions. Then Axtar proceeded to tell me about a travel person who once went to Malaysia and ordered something similar, stared at it and claimed he wouldn't touch it because EVERYTHING IN THE BOWL IS ARTIFICIAL. I AM AMUSED XDXDXDXD
Met lots of other people during dinner. Like Raywing, SFSakana, Xrystal, Nereid and Nevar. Rirowa came too XDXDXD Nice meeting you guys *_____* After dinner, we walked around Bugis more before heading back to The Hive. I think we all slept at close to 12 after some gossiping and talking and listening to Kuzu and Sapphire reenact monkeys. I think they were something something-black-monkeys. Random photos galore and nonsensical crack talk ensued before we succumbed to our tired-ness.
Day 2
We woke up at 8 in the morning. Rush for toilet usage and all 8D TWAS FREEZING WHEN WE WOKE UP *____* It was raining through the night so the room temperature dropped quite a bit.
enigmatic_wind was practically shivering to the bone (not that she doesn't always but hahahhaha). After some breakfast (Yuncyn had a wrestling match with a water dispenser 8D) we left for Liang Court via taxi since it was raining and all. We got there a little too early though so we hung around the McDs there for a bit. They have McCafe T___T HOMG MC CAFE?? MALAYSIA MANA MC CAFE DUDE??? We got some pretty good stuff at Liang Court, namely artbooks, anthologies and what not. I WANTS GENSO SUIKO ANTOLOGY 5 ;____; But Fenix got it first so oh wells ;___; I got myself Air Gear vol 17 and Robot 8 (because Robot barely comes into Malaysia via Kino without being censored)
And we came to the realization....
That the Singapore Kinokuniya is hording all the (what we assume to be) the world's stock of OKAMI artbooks >_>;;;
Then we moved on to Takashimaya and got some of the other stuff. Met Victor there too. (See what I mean about meeting random Malaysians?) Fenix, Axtar and Yuncyn went back to Liang Court to get a pair of shoes for Axtar 8D When they got back we went to the food court in Takashimaya to see the wonderful selection of food they have ;___; HOMG SO LOVE. But so EX D8 Some of us ended up eating a tMos Burger because there was no space in the food court. We did buy back some stuff from the food court and ate it with the rest of course. (HOMG SO MALAYSIAN LAWL). I want Mos Burger and Hokkaido ice cream and stuff to come down to Malaysia please kthxbye ;_;
After that we went to the Shoe and Bag Fair they were having there 8D. There was some really good stuff but since I already got my share of shoes and boots in Malaysia before the trip, I just did some nice browsing. I wanted to get one of the nice bags that they had on display but the last one they had was a little damaged ;_; It was a pretty good deal though. There were some really nice knee high boots going for about 30 sing sadly we couldn't find one in Axtar's size T__T I'll bring you to Aldo and hope that the ones that are still on promotion can fit you ne~ Some of us bought some nice pairs of shoes for a really good price. Once we were done we took pictures in front of the fountain that was close to the fair. I wonder what everyone passing by must have thought, 10 crazy girls posing like fools like a bunch of mad tourists 8D;
If there is one thing I totally love about Singapore,its how nice the help is O_O; I mean I usually hate going up to female officials here because a good majority of them are bitchy as heck and the men aren't any help. But geez, now I can totally see why Malaysia tops as one of South East Asia's most unfriendly countries. I asked this woman official for directions to the toilet in Takashimaya and she was so nice and all and courteous I was bowled over O_o; She even wished me have a nice day and gave me a hearty laugh when I asked if there was an entrance fee charge, and proceeded to tell me that the toilets are free and they're really nice. And have a nice day too T__T I wish we were like this here too.
We went back to Bugis and there the group split. Some went back to The Hive and I stayed with Fenix, Axtar and Yuncyn to do some quick shopping. Pressed for time so we went to the places we saw last night and helped Fenix to pick out a skirt that was within her budget price. We managed to find a really nice one and the lady was pretty quick to agree when we asked for a price reduction XD IT LOOKS GREAT ON YOU THOUGH FENIX! DO WEAR IT OUT WITH US SOME DAY! Then we went across the street to buy bags. Fenix and I bought these, what I think would be deemed, zombie bags? They're so cute *___* Managed to haggle down the price a bit and we both bought different designs. She's naming her's Niou-kun. Not sure what I should name mine yet. Any suggestions?
We proceeded to head back via taxi but the wait was t3h long X_x; Sorry to the rest of you ne. Oddly a lot of the taxis were going to Jurong. I wonder why... we managed to get back in the nick of time to get changed and stuff for the Phantom of the Opera. Everyone of you looked great O___O Its the first time I've seen all of us dressed up for any occasion so I feel I need to make a commentary.

We made our way to Esplanade Theatre. Our driver dropped us off at the wrong end though so we were a little lost for a bit. Esplanade is so GORGEOUS though O___O I wish we had theatres like that here. The display they had of the one line only drawings was really interesting. Met Skye there with her friend. We had dinner at Thai Express outside. I didn't eat anything though since I had some money problems (mum gave me the amount in the wrong currency >_>;) but thankfully I didn't feel hungry. What Axtar was eating looked so tempting though *__* I've so got to try it at the Thai Express here 8D
And talk of the show itself shall not be cut because it deserves SO MUCH LOVE.
Bottomline is..... HOMG I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT. NO WORDS CAN EXPRESS THE EXTENT OF HOW MUCH I LOVED IT.
To watch it LIVE, LIVE!!! TWAS LIKE A DREAM COME TRUE. I swooned at all the voices and OMG I couldn't believe people with such powerful voices existed. The opening was so cool! The lifting of the chandelier and all and the effects they did. Like how they could make us believe that they were floating on water even though we were only seeing smog. The Phantom and Raoul's voices made me swoon in different ways *___* The change of scenes and props were so effecient and fast I couldn't believe it. The show was spectacular, their actors and singers splendid. Their costumes gorgeous and everything else was brilliant. I felt shivers down my back when Eric started singing and ARGH I REGRET NOT GETTING BETTER SEATS *___* I was fangirling so much with Li Sian it wasn't even funny. Their backdrops were gorgeous *____* As one who is studying illustration, how they managed to get it to look so 3D even though it was really 2D was amazing! The transitions were so fast and effecient that I barely noticed it.
The emotions they portrayed was breathtaking. I really pitied the main roles. Some of the scenes were absolutely bone chilling. I'm glad to know I'm old enough to understand the depth of some songs which I overlooked as a child. Like the song, The Point of No Return, I love it to the core. Thank goodness for opera binoculars, I could see some details upclose! I wish I could burn the memory of the entire show into my head!
After the show was over, the cast came out for an encore 3 times! I've never clapped so much in my life! There was a standing ovation for Eric too! Twas one of the happiest moments of my life, to be able to watch it live. I wish I could watch it again with better seats but one thing at a time *___*
We came out and started fangirling like mad! We passed the stand where they sold the merchandise for the Phantom and we saw a sign that made us GAPE and want to CLAW everything around us. Apparently if we had come for the show the day before or after, we would have been able to meet the man who plays as ERIC. OMG NOOOESSSSSSS. The info wasn't on the net or I would have booked a different day for the rest of us ;___; NOESSSSSSSSSSS T______T
Was tempted to buy something at the store but T___T No moneys T__T I wanted the programme too but it was $25. I'll read it from those who have it though then.
NEXT GOAL IS TO WATCH THE ORIGINAL LONDON CAST PERFORM ON THEIR HOME GROUND!
T_T Fat chance of that happening anytime soon though.
We all went down and proceeded to be jakun and posed with the big Phantom poster. Met Rika and Raywing again downstairs. Wish we could have had more time to chat but oh well... next time ya~ We made our way back to the Hive via MRT. And Skye proceeded to demonstrate to us that zebra crossings DO work!. AWW MAN. Now if only it'd work the same way in Sunway! We got back pretty late but we went out to have supper at the McDs again. Super saving deals are t3h love ;_; I could eat a full meal for $3. HALLELUJAH.
Returned to The Hive by 1.30 a.m. and we packed up most of the stuff we had and fell asleep. Apparently I missed some crack talk about the Phantom and cheese fries so do fill me in guys! XD We woke up and proceeded to Lavendar Station to get on our bus. Took some time to get back since we had more stops and there was a traffic jam when we reached KL. Some mishaps for our journey back home but it was all sorted out in the end. AH SUCH GREAT TIMES ;__; Thanks to your dad FEN FEN, for sending me back!
THE TRIP WAS A TOTAL BLAST ;___; Sure we had some miscommunication and so sorry for being such an irritating brat guys >__<; And if I offended any of you on the trip, A THOUSAND APOLOGIES! *kowtows* All in all it was a learning trip and a fun one too 8D Lets do it again some time ne~ I'm really glad that in the end the whole gang went down instead of just the original 4. It made it so much more fun *_*

Wish we could have had more time to chat but oh well... next time ya~ We made our way back to the Hive via MRT. And Skye proceeded to demonstrate to us that zebra crossings DO work!. AWW MAN. Now if only it'd work the same way in Sunway! We got back pretty late but we went out to have supper at the McDs again. Super saving deals are t3h love ;_; I could eat a full meal for $3. HALLELUJAH.
Returned to The Hive by 1.30 a.m. and we packed up most of the stuff we had and fell asleep. Apparently I missed some crack talk about the Phantom and cheese fries so do fill me in guys! XD We woke up and proceeded to Lavendar Station to get on our bus. Took some time to get back since we had more stops and there was a traffic jam when we reached KL. Some mishaps for our journey back home but it was all sorted out in the end. AH SUCH GREAT TIMES ;__; Thanks to your dad FEN FEN, for sending me back!
THE TRIP WAS A TOTAL BLAST ;___; Sure we had some miscommunication and so sorry for being such an irritating brat guys >__<; And if I offended any of you on the trip, A THOUSAND APOLOGIES! *kowtows* All in all it was a learning trip and a fun one too 8D Lets do it again some time ne~ I'm really glad that in the end the whole gang went down instead of just the original 4. It made it so much more fun *_*
