Odin Sphere doujinshi project
Odin Sphere doujinshi anthology - *title-less for now*
Hey guys! I know I've been mentioning it for ages but I finally got down to listing the details for the Odin Sphere doujinshi compilation, with reference to futomimii 's P3 anthology guidelines 8D I'm looking to sell and print this for Comic Fiesta 2008 and I'm looking for contributors.
Submission guidelines:
+ You can submit anything from 4-comas, One-page manga, Short manga, Illustrations and even Fanfiction (it'd be great if you do a collab with an artist for illustrations inserts or covers. Adds more variety to the manga). It can be all the above rolled into one if you want.
+ To be an In-house Artist, you must submit 6 submissions or more. (eg. 2 illustrations, 1 4-koma... generally 6 pages of stuff and more. Likewise if you draw a manga that's more than 6 pages, it counts too!)
Those who submit less than that will be considered as Guest Artists.
This applies to those who submit fanfictions as well (cover page and insert illustrations are taken into account)
+ ALL submissions must be scanned in at 300dpi, 2079x2953 pixels (17.6cm x 25 cm). This is the minimum size for the images/ content as I'm hoping to be able to try and print the anthology in B5 size, depending on the amount of submissions (and printing costs lawl 8D)
+ All submissions must be in black and white, screentoned or you can even use grey tones. Pencil works are fine too.
+ NO explicit language and blatant hentai, yaoi, yuri. Artistic nudity is fine.
+ Comics read from left to right, like how English comics flow.
+ Artists are required to send in a freetalk page (700x550 pixels) as well. Basically, the artists can rant and draw whatever message they want in that box and I'll arrange it nicely in the last few pages of the doujinshi.

BTW PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SUGGEST A TITLE FOR THE DOUJINSHI BECAUSE MY BRIAN IS DEAD AND I KNOW THERE ARE A LOT OF AWESOME PEOPLE ON MY F-LIST WHO CAN COME UP WITH AWESOME TITLES 8D
Coloured Illustrations Submissions.
+ I intend to have at least perhaps 2 to 4 colour pages at the front of the doujinshi if possible so those who want to try and submit may follow the size requirements above.
+ Note that I intend to Quality Control the coloured pages so if I get extra submissions I may not be able to insert everyone's submission. They will be picked according to their composition, colour and overall impression.
+ Those of you who are interested please make a special mention, e.g. 'Coloured Illustration'

* Due to possible cost of printing, the in-house artists only need to pay half the cost of the doujin's printing (if it can be given for free I will try to give it to you all free), whereas guest artists will be required to pay for the cost price of the doujinshi.
* For those who live out of Malaysia, just add in the cost of the shipping so that I can send it to you^^ (you can have a bulk shipment if it so happens that some of you live together in the same area!)
* The cost of printing will be managed by me. I will reclaim the cost of the printing and the profits will be used for little TQ notes or possibly to shop it overseas to people if there is enough to cover the costs for it.
FEEL FREE TO PIMP THIS TO ANY OF YOUR ARTIST/FANFIC WRITER FRIENDS WHO WOULD BE INTERESTED TO JOIN! I'M OPEN TO MAKING NEW FRIENDS TOO 8D There will be a special tag for this entry called 'OS Doujin"

(I hope this goes well seeing as I've never managed a doujinshi compilation before, what's more this series seems to be a rather obscure fandom at best O_o;)
