Possible Spoilers, read at your own risk ;)
This is a remarkable story. The Japanese version is loosely based on Bill Porter, an American who was born (September 9, 1932) with cerebral palsy, he refused to go on the disability pension and became to top seller for Watkins Incorporated. I've never seen the original movie, but after seeing the Japanese version, I really wold like to see the American TV Movie (2002).
Ninomiya Kazunari, if its possible, I just fell in love with him all over again lol He was amazing as Hideo. This movie has its sad parts, I cried, but then again I'm a sook when it comes to emotional stories. I didn't think I would cry at all, but the hospital scene was the breaker. I won't go into detail, because I don't want to give away to many spoilers.
The ending had me feeling that Hideo and Saori would eventually be together, that made me happy, they were incrediably cute together.
Now screenshots, well since the time that I actually watched this was nearly midnight last night I didn't take any as I forgot lol So I just went and took some now. Just noticed this is my second review and both are of Nino, deelovesryo, I'm on to you and your Arashi brainwashing! The next review will have to be a KAT-TUN drama lol
I really recommend everyone watch this. The cast, I believe, worked well together and weren't flashy and believably real. I will forever remember this movie everytime I hear, Smile by Rod Stewart.
