o1 . This icon was related to the fact that Leon S. Kennedy was not what Ada Wong had been expecting. He changed something in her. He revealed a piece of Ada's heart she'd kept in the cold dark shadows of herself that no one else could see.
o2 . I hope I did that one right lol. The bright fiery look of the icon is supposed to represent passion. Ada saves Leon even though she's not the type of person to put her own life on the line like that.
o3 . I personally like fairy-tales that don't have happy endings exactly, but they do have very real, human emotions. Ada and Leon are on opposites of the spectrum. Their type of fairytale keeps them separated from one another, yet they are closer to each other than anyone else.
o4 . Why I chose that image? Call me a masochist lol. Anyway, what happens is Ada walks up on Leon. He doubles over in pain and she asks if he's okay. He says he's fine and he walks up very slowly to her. You can TOTALLY tell that she thinks he's about to kiss her. She raises her hand toward his face, but he suddenly starts choking her due to being mentally controlled by a parasitic organism. I just love the fact that Ada let her guard down and considered kissing our sexy Leon. <3333
o5 . This icon is actually a contradiction. :3 Their intentions toward one another are anything but cruel in all reality, buuut because of them being on opposite sides, they do cruel things to one another. ;DDD I thought that it was a nice play on words.
o6 . I love Autumn. Obviously, right? Anyway, I used the two images of both Leon and Ada for the fact that this is the ending of their time with the memories of Raccoon and their meeting. Like the icy touch of winter moving through the skeletal trees during Autumn's death, they have to let go of those memories... now more vibrant than the present. Autumn is pretty vibrant. ;3
o7 . This icon is just pure fan-girl obsessiveness. <333333
o8 . I used a more vivid and dark sky stock because Leon's and Ada's interactions are anything but bright and sunny. I also brought in more fiery and red hues to portray their attraction and the environment they always find themselves meeting in--a bloodstained world of survival and death. Also, the song lyric is a reference to how both of them will take the other to the edge. They test each others limits and push the other further, making them stronger.
o9 . This icon represents a very amazing fan fiction by adaadore. The reason I chose to use the title of her story is because it's not only based on time, but the timelessness of perfectly imperfect love. Both parties are caught in a web that neither of them can take forever. They find solace in one another and their wounded form of love.
1o . This icon represents a unique kind of ending. Most would think it's Ada's supposed death, but that is not so. It represents her burying her feelings for Leon deep within her heart, only to savor them in the night when no one is watching. It does represent a death... a cold and harsh understanding that both lovers are on opposites sides and that they could never grow old together and enjoy the sunsets on their old wooden porch.
11 . Because this card signifies action as one of the attributes, I thought this scene would have been perfect. Leon, even though he doesn't know Ada very well, risks his own life to save her. The action itself is like that of a butterfly effect that ripples through both of their lives.
12 . Since the Fool card can represent innocence, I felt that would be fitting for this situation. Leon has just saved Ada. He doesn't realize that she is actually an enemy to him. And, honestly... I don't think he would care. He feels that there is a goodness in Ada, possibly still naive? Perhaps... but this causes Ada feelings to grow even stronger for him.
13 . The tower card can represent a shaking of the foundations of a life or soul. I feel that this icon represents both parties having their soul shaken by the other. Ada has just risked her life for Leon and is badly wounded. Leon's own expression shows surprise and awe. What is not known to anyone who isn't familiar with this pairing, is that Leon tells Ada that he's not leaving without her. Despite knowing who she is, that she is his enemy, he's not leaving without her. That in and of itself, would shake the very foundations of Ada's being. Someone who she was planning on possibly killing is telling her that he's not leaving her behind.
14 . This icon might seem a bit more complex lol. Buuut, I figured, since the Hermit card could also represent guidance, that it would be perfect for both Leon and Ada. The icon itself represents how Ada is always walking away and Leon insistently follows. The symbolism given to them by the game developers also solidifies the 'guidance' attribute. "Ada sports a lot of possible symbolism in her overall motif, as well as a connection to Leon... Interestingly however, Butterflies in Japanese mythos are said to lead to interesting things when they are followed, which would go with Leon's tendency to follow Ada and may presumably lead to the truth of all things." Ada is constantly flirting with Leon throughout Resident Evil 4, teasing him by running away and revealing her leg through the slit of her dress in one scene. Leon of course, is totally caught off-guard and stares longingly at her lol. Also, the way they act around one another with their actions and how their voices change definitely show the sexual attraction. Leon's voice deepens considerably and his tone becomes husky. Ada's is warmer and more coy. With others, she's mostly cold, manipulative, arrogant, and sarcastic.
