movies of 2019
This past year, I have been much more impressed by certain TV series than movies (namely: Chernobyl; Our Planet; Love, Death & Robots) but they don't technically count here, so, here we are.
Edit 20 Feb 2020: So I watched Parasite, and now I know why it won the Oscars.

1. In the Tall Grass (it is so hard to get a Stephen King adaptation right)

3. Pokemon: Detective Pikachu (and I really wasn't expecting much at all)
MOST ANTICIPATED

4. Glass
5. John Wick 3: Parabellum
MOST DISAPPOINTING
1. John Wick 3: Parabellum (I really liked the first two... and yet I can't believe I fell asleep in the middle of this)
2. X-Men: Dark Phoenix
3. Ad Astra (could have been great but it was so boring and slow)
MOST SURPRISING
