Yes this is late but yes this is still going. 2016 felt like the year of all the Marvel franchises.

BEST
1. Deadpool
2. 10 Cloverfield Lane (apart from the wtf ending, this would have been 1st)
3. Doctor Strange
4. Captain America: Civil War
5. Star Trek Beyond

Honourable mentions:
6. The Conjuring 2
7. Zootopia
8. Hush (a better thriller than Don't Breathe)

WORST
1. Gods of Egypt (not that we were expecting anything from this)
2. Pride and Prejudice Zombies
3. The Darkness (yet another obscure horror movie)

MOST ANTICIPATED
1. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
2. Deadpool
3. Captain America: Civil War

MOST DISAPPOINTING
1. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (AND OMG HOW DISAPPOINTING THIS WAS)
2. Assassin's Creed (Fassbender and Cotillard couldn't save it)
3. Suicide Squad

MOST SURPRISING
1. Hush (hadn't heard much about it but it was really good)
2. Jason Bourne (was somehow expecting it to be bad... but it was OK)
3. Don't Breathe (and not entirely in a good way)

MOST OVERRATED
1. Finding Dory
2. X-Men Apocalypse
3. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
(I don't really have any I felt were particularly overhyped)

WANT TO SEE IN 2017
1. Dunkirk (Chris Nolan!! Tom Hardy!)
2. Alien: Covenant
3. Life
