Get out of my way
I'm really greatful for people I care about giving me advice. I just wish people would stop telling me what they think is the best for me without asking what I want. For instance, "where do you see your career taking you and what do you think you'll need to succeed?" would be a much better conversation than telling me that I should finish Uni no matter what, irrespective of whether it's doing my head in or not. Maybe asking me what I see in someone would be better too, rather than just telling me blatantly that they're not good enough for me (they are).
But, in saying that, I'm not content with average anymore. I want more than coming home to a shitty apartment and worrying about bills all the time and hanging around with people who drag me down. I want to be surrounded by people who are vibrating on the same frequency.
I always thought I was more of a Marissa/Serena, but I can see my Summer/Blair side now too.
