It's nice to see how excited everyone is about the trip! It's been ages since I've been to the zoo myself or even back to Ireland in general, so I have to wonder if they've done any revamping of the exhibits since then.

...I hope they got better containments for the Nifflers, too. The accident that happened the last time I was there was rather

...There was an accident, professor?

Not as bad as you might think, Kiddo, there was just no warning to not wear anything shiny and the Nifflers got out when they saw jewelery on a woman up front.

It was a very long time ago, I should hope they'll have installed some signs when we visit there again.

Ah, I see. I shall have to be cautious with my rings then.

It seems strange that Nifflers would be within range of spectators.

Well, you know Nifflers, they get a bit frenzied. Hence my hope that they've procured better containment since then.

Although they could have changed the exhibit entirely, too. I was a first year the last time I visited.

Were you on a field trip then as well? Hogwarts seems to make a habit of holding them annually.

Yes, although...after the Niffler incident, we didn't have field trips that involved wildlife for a while.

What are some other places you've gone to on trips, professor?

Nothing terribly exciting. We've never gone to the Ministry like you have, though we did visit London at large to see how Muggles live and Wales--which is a very lovely place, mind you--and in our seventh year we visited Durmstrang.

Durmstrang?

Is it drastically different? I'm curious about what other Wizarding schools in Europe are like.

...Last I recalled, it was a cold and dark school, not as big as Hogwarts. It has a bit of a nasty reputation for teaching the Dark Arts and it doesn't admit Muggle-born students.

I can see why father holds Hogwarts in such high regard in comparison.

Your father is very wise, Kiddo.
