Continued from Part 1... ***
They met several times after that day, running into each other on buses, boats and freeway lanes, bumping into each other at cafes, carnivals and coliseums. It wasn’t particularly unsurprising, really - Famine and Pollution did often go together, after all, and it was all in the line of work. (Or in the name

Mostly, I enjoyed the ride immensely and would love to read more from you! :D That was a take on Pollution I hadn't seen previously, but it's not like I've been able to find much.

I haven't read much Pollution-centric fic either (hardly any, actually), so I'm not entirely sure where my Pollution stands in comparison to most people's interpretations. *shrugs* I've very pleased it worked for you -Pollution was a lot of fun to write.

I'm glad to hear the characterisation worked for you. My other fics can be found on my journal - there isn't much GO at present, but I'm working on a Crowley/Aziraphale piece right now, so I hope to have it up soon. :)

There's just not enough of this pairing anymore.
You've got Pollution down really well, just the right mix of stoned and artistic. Hee.

And you're absolutely right - there isn't nearly enough of this pairing. *sighs* Thank you for the lovely compliment, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Or, well. The style, the footnotes, the black humour, the pairing (never really thought about famine/pollution before - but *cough* I certainly am now), it's all perfect.
Then you referenced QaF and I just about imploded with glee. And Brian slept with Pollution! Of course he would, though.
*mems*

I'm very happy to have been able to introduce you to the pairing of Famine/Pollution, and I'm glad you enjoyed it! They do go rather well together, don't they? :)
And you caught the QAF reference! Haha, brilliant. The opportunity was just too good to pass up - I mean, surely Famine would've needed an advertising team for CHOW and MEALS (etc), so why not? As for the Brian/Pollution ... I'll admit, it originally came out of nowhere, but then again, Brian does like his blond twinks, doesn't he? ;)

This was my first shot at writing either of the characters, so I'm very pleased to hear they worked for you. Also, the generation difference was one of the first things that came to me when I was sketching out my initial characterizations, so I'm glad it came through in writing!
Strangely enough, just yesterday when I was at a script-writing workshop, I somehow veered slightly off track and ended up throwing a few words together as a dialogue-only epilogue to this fic, haha. Nothing special, mind you, but all this rambling to say that the question of how they might react after the failed apocalypse was on my mind too. ;)
