Another year another fucking study about the lack of diversity in Hollywood.
Also, how the hell did 40+ films in Hollywood manage to not feature a single speaking Asian in all of 2014? Seriously, 40+ films? In 2014?
And people wonder why I don't have much interest in movies, and up until Fresh Off the Boat earlier this year, no interest in TV, and why I spend all my free time playing video games instead or watching video game livestreams on Twitch.
Every time I think I'm weird in those aspects, I have to wonder: how weird is it that I want to see some part of myself out in the world? Is it too much to ask for a film featuring an Asian lead that's not a fucking model Mary Sue minority?
Ah, but that would just anger every Tiger parent on both sides of the Pacific because us young'uns can't have nice things.
