(no subject)
- an extremely wake up time at 4:30 in the morning
- watching the sun rise as we drove towards the race course in Hamilton
- being extremely cold for the whole morning/day
- amazing 200m races
- an amusing back it down race
- an amazing win in the A division 200m final
- drumming for the team's surprise race (3 50m races)
- waiting out on the water for about 45 minutes for our turn in the flag slalom race.
- the other team (MKF) throwing 2 snack bags of chips at us across the water
- our steersperson failing/captain falling into the water as a result of him reaching too far
- a great 2000m race in us catching up to a team at the end and passing them
- getting our well-earned medal at the end
i would say it was a great day. we did well without our coach, managed to medal, and had loads of fun.
