So the weekend can be summed up thusly:
1 30th Birthday (my brother's, the old git)

1 opening of a new indie/rock club in the city, complete with guest DJ Jay from the Inbetweeners (which is on tonight and is the best effing comedy show there is out there. Seriously you guys need to watch this show)

1 Caberet/burlesque evening

= a very icky sicky CG. I'm so glad I had the day off work today to recover because seriously, I would have been throwing up over the desk. Ew. Also, my back hurts from being strapped into a corset all yesterday. It was worth it though--I even got mistaken for one of the burlesque dancers which I'm sure must be a compliment. I think they cottoned on when they realised I can't dance for shit, though. Ah well, good times!
I'm going back to bed.
