Episode 11, "Earthquakes Happen"

I admit I wasn't paying very close attention to this episode, and I watched the second half of it two weeks ago before continuing it today, so my impressions are pretty hazy. David impersonates a structural analyst in order to sneak into a nuclear research facility in California under the guise of making certain the facility is earthquake-safe, with the goal of sneaking into an experimental unit to irradiate himself with more gamma rays in order to reverse whatever makes him turn into the Hulk. (That was one hell of a sentence.) Ironically enough (okay, I honestly can't tell anymore - does this count as irony?), an earthquake hits while he's there, and then he has to escape with a handful of other people while all systems are failing and meltdown is imminent. Hulk distinguishes himself in this episode by opening a jammed water valve, allowing the reactor core to be cooled in time to save the day. Bonus Jack McGee sighting, he's there helping with a story on the nuclear facility and actually looks a little troubled when he learns that the imposter who showed up before the "hulking creature" appeared is presumed dead.

--Hulk-outs: [2]. During the earthquake, when shit's falling everywhere; and when he's bathed in scalding steam while trying to force the coolant valve open.

Episode 12, "The Waterfront Story"

David is working as a bartender in this episode, and he and the bar's owner, Josie, are really into each other. This was the point, though, where I started cringing every time a romantic interest shows up, because you know that at the end of the episode he'll be walking alone with his duffel bag down a road while sad piano music plays. During the course of this episode they uncover a smuggling ring, and Hulk breaks up a bar fight. The police arrive and this exchange takes place between an officer and an employee:

"What happened in here?"
"I-I'm not sure. It was sorta like this Japanese movie I saw once."

Haha.

--Hulk-outs: [3]. The episode opens with Hulk running off after saving a guy who was being beaten by some thieves he'd interrupted; later David hulks out after getting punched a couple of times and thrown through a door during the bar fight; and last when he and an unconscious Josie are put into a shipping crate and are being loaded onto a boat whose captain's been ordered to toss 'em overboard at sea.
