Lately I've taken interest on oldish Korean stuff (as in, things previous to 2008, which is when I started listening to k-pop... it's not ~that~ old), so your pimp posts about Shinhwa are really helpful and I'm thankful you made them ♥ I was quite overwhelmed as their discography is quite big and none of my friends listen their music so I can't ask them for recommendations ;_; Also, I can't seem to find updated posts with working download links of those old-school bands (as well as Shinhwa, I'm currently looking for H.O.T and FTTS, I guess I'm into SME ^^U), so of course I'll take this recompilation :D

Thank you

I was wondering, would be Shinhwa's situation similar to SS501? As in, SS501 is kind of following Shinhwa's steps?

And on a side note, HJ-Split is also available for Mac ;-)

There's a great site called Kpoparchieve that has most of the albums by older artists. You can find all the one you're looking for (and more) there :)
FFTS: http://kpoparchieve.blogspot.com/search/label/Fly%20To%20The%20Sky
H.O.T: http://kpoparchieve.blogspot.com/2009/03/hot-music-collection.html
Shinhwa: http://kpoparchieve.blogspot.com/2009/03/shinhwa-music-collection.html

Hmmm, everyone keeps saying that but it's not exactly similar. Yes, the Shinhwa members are under different labels and still working together like SS501 says they will. But those different labels are companies they started themselves. Plus their group activities are still managed by their original (post-SM) label, Good Entertainment. So they never really left their company like SS501 did with DSP. The Shinhwa members just set up their own individual labels to manage their solo careers and produce new singers, in addition to renewing their contract as a group with Good Ent. Most companies would never let something like that happen but Shinhwa is pretty much the only cash cow Good Ent has so they get to do whatever they want :P

Woah, cool, I've never heard about it before but I'm totally bookmarking it after I finish writing this comment :)

I see~ So it's kind of similar in general (as compared to other artists), except not really when you look into the details... And because of your comments and the few videos I watched I somehow get the feeling Shinhwa are like those rebel kids that cause a lot of trouble but you can't hate xD

Again, thank you so much ♥
