Dongwan B-Day Animation Spam
It's not the 21st here yet but it is in South Korea, so here goes my first birthday post..
I don't usually do birthday posts but I'm going to make an exception this year because Dongwan enlisted before his birthday so he has to spend his special day in the army barracks :( I feel bad he can't even have a nice dinner with his family or the members and was probably up at the crack of dawn, training.
So below is a huge animation spam full of hilarious Dongwan moments and a few crazy ones with the other members. Plus lots of MinWan love because those two are such lovers BFFs.
As a teaser, one of my personal favorites:
Do they realize how that looks when taken out of context? Actually, I'm sure they do but they totally don't care. Ah, Shinhwa, this is why I love you.
For those of you who don't know, Dongwan is the mood-maker in Shinhwa. He's infamous for his silly, sometimes stupid, jokes and for putting his foot in his mouth because he doesn't think before talking. But he's just so pure-hearted and smiley that everyone forgives him in the end.
His laugh is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. It never fails to put a smile on my face!
But it's the goofy things he does that make me smile even more
Like imitating Eric's icecream ad
Or doing magic tricks that wouldn't even impress a 5 year old
Or dancing to Hae Gyul Sah (Resolver) while knee deep in water
But he then turns all serious and macho and makes me swoon instead
And his hotness does not escape the other members' attention!
Like Andy, who tries to molest feel him up. But can you blame him for wanting to fulfill every fangirl's fantasy? You go, Andy!
Or Eric, who just can't resist a quick peck
I think the funniest thing about this is the other members' faces. They are totally nonchalant about it. Oh, just Eric trying to kiss one of us again. If my memory serves me correct, I think Eric has kissed every single one of the members on the lips at least once....except maybe Andy. But he's kissed Andy on the cheek millions of times.
And Eric even tries to make-out with him while they're filming a fight scene for their music video
But they all don't stand a chance because his heart belongs to Minwoo
Their love knows no bounds and they constantly stare at,
hug,
caress,
hold hands with,
jump into the arms of,
eat each other,
check out abs ... in the middle of a press conference!
or even try to slow dance while on stage
I guess it must be because Dongwan is responsible for the great shape Minwoo is in today :P
So in conclusion, Happy Birthday, Dongwan!
I hope you'll always keep smiling
And singing with that beautiful voice of yours
If case you haven't seen it yet, this is his last music video before enlistment. Watching him get that buzz cut, finally made it sink in that he was really leaving. But he's so calm and accepting that it made me feel better knowing that he's come to terms with the new chapter in his life.
